2011 World Police & Fire Games

Sanctuary Guest Suites is a proud host of a group of Fire Fighters & Police (and their friends) from Spain visiting New York to compete in the 2011 World Police & Fire Games. 

The concept to promote sport and fraternity within the Police and Firefighting communities began in 1967, with the staging of the first ever California Police Olympics. This concept continued to grow and culminated in 1983, with the creation of the World Police & Fire Games Federation. The first World Games were held in 1985, in San Jose, California.........
