Interfaith Community Services was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2005 in Manhattan’s East Village with the purpose of giving something back to the local community and has since has been serving out FREE healthy meals to the the hungry and homeless at legendary Tompkins Square Park all year round even through the coldest of Winters. We pass out about 150 meals 3 times a week.
ICS is also the umbrella company for Sanctuary Guest Suites, Bed & Breakfast - NYC through which it's "Food for Life" out-reach project is funded. Sanctuary Guest Suites helps carry out this charity work and at the same time offers travelers a peaceful and beautiful place to stay and enjoy their visit to New York City.
